Aryna Sabalenka

Sabalenka was conceived in Minsk. Sergey, her father (who passed away in 2019) was an ice hockey player. Aryna Sabalenka, born on May 5, 1998 at Minsk Belarus. She has won 12 WTA titles throughout her career, which includes that of the Grand Slam of 2023 Australian Open. Her doubles game is excellent She has won majors during the US Open (2019) and Australian Open (2021), both of which were in partnership with Elisemertens. Alongside the Belgian tennis star, she won her the WTA 1000 in Indian Wells and Miami in 2019, thus completing the Sunshine Double. This feat was made possible by four couples competing in the women's doubles. In January 2023, she reached her highest ranking in singles. The 23rd day of August 2021, she climbed to the second spot in the the world rankings. But in doubles, she rose to the top spot following her win in Melbourne on February of the following year. Dmitry Tursunov (a former Russian tennis player) was her coach for a portion of 2019 as well as from the year 2018 until end. Dieter Kindlmann was her trainer from the month of August to September of 2020. As of the year 2020's end, she's been trained by her countryman Antonio Dubrov. Her top idols are Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.
